About me
I began teaching high school and middle school agriculture students over 30 years ago. Beginning with the 25-26 school year, I will also assume the duties of the Career Ed Director in my district. I will still be teaching a few high school agriculture courses. Additionally, I will be: serving as the FFA Advisor, BBQ Team Coach, and driving a bus from time-to-time. I sat out of teaching for a few years, but don't regret coming back to the profession. I've seen a lot of changes in public education over the years; some good - some not so good. One thing that hasn't changed is the student's I have the pleasure of having in class. Even though kids today often have challenges I didn't see when I began teaching in 1993, they will continue to perform to the standards we expect of them.
