About me
Julie Brown serves the Republic School District as an Elementary Literacy Specialist. She's in her 17th year in education and her 5th year as a specialist. Prior to her current role, she supported elementary students as a first grade, second grade, and fourth-grade teacher. Julie supports curriculum work, provides professional development on the best practices in literacy, and empowers readers and writers to understand that every good book has something to teach. Outside of school, Julie loves spending time outdoors with her family, reading and hosting book clubs, and planning vacations.
