At the end of this presentation, participants will have research and examples of practices to take back to the classroom and their team on ways to calibrate the grading process to create consistency for their students.
Join us to explore how incorporating sign language in the classroom can enhance relationships and boost social-emotional learning. Participants will learn basic signs and discover how using them can strengthen connections between students and staff. By fostering inclusive communication, sign language empowers students, either deaf or hearing, to express themselves with confidence, leading to improved interactions and emotional well-being. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to create a more connected and supportive classroom environment.
We will showcase Jennifer Bay Williams work in the area of Multiplication Fluency. We will walk our audience through the progression of teaching multiplication from basic fact knowledge and readiness and visual supports to development and use of strategies. We will also address assessing and tracking student's progression of multiplication fluency and support for striving learners.
